Krotz Springs introduces police recruit; maintenance supervisor reports hydrant follow-up and park repairs

Maintenance Supervisor Nina Snyder reported that Charlie Melancon had raised concerns about fire hydrants and that a planned meeting to discuss the issue did not take place. Nina also reported that Slemco has finished replacing utility poles in town.
Mayor Carroll B. Snyder said concrete at Nall Park needs repair prior to the July 4 holiday. Other announcements included a Second Harvest distribution on June 17–18, the municipal dump site being officially open and recognition of Alderman Keith Ardoin as Citizen of the Year by VFW Post 334.
No public comment was recorded during the meeting. The council adjourned on a unanimous motion.
