The proclamation listed coaches including Brian Dunn and assistant coaches and congratulated players by name.
Councilwoman Massaro and other council members joined in presenting the proclamation; the team and supporters received applause and photos in the council chambers. Officials said the recognition acknowledges “courage, determination and success” and thanked the coaching staff and student-athletes for representing the community.
