The Blythewood Town Council recorded several unanimous votes during its Jan. 27 meeting.
Minutes: Councilman Donald Brock moved to approve the Dec. 16 regular meeting minutes and the Dec. 27 special called meeting minutes with two clerical corrections; Councilman R. McKenrick seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
Appointments and reappointments: The council approved appointments to the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals and reappointments to multiple boards via unanimous consent (recorded as 5-0).
Executive session: Councilman R. McKenrick moved and Councilwoman E. Page seconded a motion to enter executive session at 6:35 p.m. under SC Code Section 30-4-70 to discuss economic development (Project Connect), negotiations and real property (Doko Park), legal advice regarding business license fees, and personnel matters. The motion passed 5-0. The council reconvened open session at 7:50 p.m. by unanimous vote and reported there were no items requiring a vote following executive session.
Adjournment: The council adjourned at 7:50 p.m. by unanimous vote.
