The Warrensburg Board of Adjustment on April 17 unanimously approved a resolution granting a variance for properties at 409 and 411 N. Charles Street and also approved corrected minutes from its March 12 meeting, Chair Anita Love said.
Barbara Carroll, the city’s director of community development, introduced the resolution approving variance VAR-122-2024 and asked the board if the language reflected the reasons for their decision; no changes were requested. Earlier in the meeting board members addressed the March 12 minutes. Thomas Ruehle moved to approve the minutes with one correction: replace the line that read, "Ruehle questioned the applicant..." with "Boxley questioned the applicant..." Glen Boxley seconded and the board approved the corrected minutes 5-0 on a roll call vote. Ruehle’s suggested edit was recorded in the meeting minutes as noted by the board.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Anita Love at 5:00 p.m., was recorded by a court reporter, and adjourned at 5:02 p.m. The minutes carry a signature line dated June 18, 2025, signed by Chair Anita Love.
