Wardsville trustees approve removal of dead shrubs, to pursue storm-drain easement with Missouri American Water

The Village of Wardsville Board of Trustees voted June 3 to remove the dead foundation bushes in front of the community building and replace them with rock, and asked maintenance staff to continue negotiations with Missouri American Water about a planned storm-drain swap.
Maintenance Supervisor Gary Frank told the board the shrubs in front of the building were “basically dead” and said he would contact Missouri American Water again to follow up on swapping a property storm drain; Village Counsel David Bandre' noted the village may have a storm-water easement reflected on its maps. Board Member Brian Schrimpf moved to remove the bushes and install additional rock; Mark Buschjost seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
