Superintendent Dr. Missy Peretti presented and the board approved a slate of personnel actions at the Oct. 27 meeting.
Accepted resignations included Lamar Yancey (Special Education Aide, effective Sept. 30, 2025) and Michele Horn (Special Education Aide, effective Nov. 20, 2025). Approved leaves of absence (using accumulated sick days and concurrent FMLA/NJFLA leave) were recorded for Michelle Troast (First Grade Teacher, leave effective March 31, 2026 with anticipated return Oct. 1, 2026), Nicole Eastlack (Child Study Team Secretary, effective Jan. 5, 2026 with return July 1, 2026), and Nicole Grieb (Special Education Teacher, effective Jan. 26, 2026 with anticipated return Sept. 1, 2026). The minutes specify the number of accumulated sick days for some leaves (for example, 48 sick days for Nicole Grieb) and state that employment remains contingent upon required criminal-history clearances and certifications.
New hires approved include Jerah Siegal (Technology Assistant of Mt. Laurel, salary $55,000 pro-rated, pending clearances), Lisa Wall (contract Bus Driver, Step 2, $32.50/hour, effective Oct. 28, 2025), Susana Rios (Full-time Custodian, Step 2, $36,125.00 pro-rated, effective Oct. 20, 2025), Jennifer Rios (Part-time Custodian, Step 3, $17.09/hour, effective Oct. 20, 2025), Christina Hohing (10-month Receptionist, Step 1, $25,522.00 pro-rated), and Donna Beck (Part-Time Special Education Aide, $23.33/hour, effective Oct. 29, 2025). The board also approved Heather Leonardi for the Lego First Team Coordinator stipend position at $35.35/hour and authorized a roster of substitute teachers, nurses, aides, drivers and custodians to be used as needed through June 30, 2026. Items 1–16 in the personnel section were carried by roll call (Motion: Mrs. Coslop; Second: Mrs. Kendrick; Roll Call: 8-0).
The minutes note that the Homeless Liaison and ELL Liaison stipend positions have multiple interested candidates and that specific assignments for those stipends will be decided at a subsequent meeting.
