The Town of Briarcliffe Acres on March 17 awarded a $39,997.50 surveying contract to Diamond Shores Surveying and scheduled the work to begin March 24, the council said.
David Schwerd of Diamond Shores kicked off the RFP #2025.01 engagement and answered questions from council members. Council documents state the survey will last approximately 90 days and conclude around Aug. 1, with Pine Tree Lane to be surveyed first so necessary road repairs and drainage re-direction can be discussed with the two builders involved.
Mayor Dave Buonviri and Councilmembers said residents will receive important information before survey work starts. The survey is intended to produce data the town can use to plan repairs and address ongoing drainage concerns in the Pine Tree Lane area.
Next steps: survey crews are scheduled to begin fieldwork March 24; the council will review the survey findings after the contractor submits them later this summer.
