WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The Wardsville Board of Trustees on May 6 agreed to use Road and Bridge funds to finish planned road repairs on Falcon Lane and in the Deer Haven Subdivision.
Village Clerk Libby Chipman told trustees the work will be coordinated with the county and that the village will need to apply some Road and Bridge money to complete the project. Chipman said she had instructed county contact Matt Prenger to proceed and that Prenger will provide final figures as soon as possible.
The board decided on the funding approach after discussing projections that indicated doing the work in separate phases would be more expensive. Trustee Brian Schrimpf also flagged fading lane markings on Ashbury and said he would verify which agency is responsible for repainting.
The board took no formal vote beyond approving routine meeting items; trustees indicated they expect staff to present final cost estimates and a schedule for the work once Prenger supplies figures.
