The Hasbrouck Heights Board of Health unanimously adopted Resolutions Nos. 22 and 23 on Jan. 8, 2025, requesting that the mayor and council enter into a contract with the Mid-Bergen Regional Commission for the year 2025. Mrs. Kelly moved for adoption and Mrs. Ratkowski seconded; a roll call recorded all present members voting yes.
President Connie Doheny opened discussion on the health and nursing contracts and reviewed topics from the board's prior meeting before the vote. The minutes of Dec. 11, 2024, were accepted earlier in the meeting on a separate unanimous motion by Mr. Russ Lipari and seconded by Mrs. Ratkowski. The board also approved payment of routine vouchers, including a $50 renewal for the New Jersey Registrar Association and $311 for rabies forms.
The meeting minutes do not specify the contract scope or services that Mid-Bergen Regional Commission would provide; the board’s action was a request that the municipal mayor and council enter into the contract. The resolutions passed by the board will be forwarded to the mayor and council for their consideration and any formal action.
The board took no additional formal votes on contract terms during the meeting; the minutes indicate only that the resolution was adopted and that the mayor and council are being asked to execute the contract.
