Harvey Cedars, N.J. — The Board of Commissioners on Aug. 5 voted to increase the borough’s Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP) contribution and approved the certified 2023 list of qualifying volunteer members.
By Resolution No. 2024-104 the board raised the annual LOSAP contribution to $2,023 per qualifying High Point Volunteer Fire Company member, citing a Consumer Price Index adjustment. The resolution states the increase will take effect when funds are deposited into members’ accounts at Lincoln Financial for the 2023 LOSAP.
The board also adopted Resolution No. 2024-105 approving the certified list of volunteer members who qualified for LOSAP credit for 2023 and confirming that each qualifying member will receive $1,093 for 2023. The certified list will be posted at the municipal clerk’s office and at the fire company for 30 days, and appeals must be mailed to the municipal clerk within 30 days of posting.
Action: both resolutions were adopted by roll call vote. The clerk certified the resolutions in the meeting record.
