Helmetta council appoints Heather Glen resident Massimo Pirrone to fill council vacancy

In written materials submitted to the clerk and summarized in the meeting, Pirrone cited experience on the Heather Glen Homeowners Association board and his work as a Realtor with RE/MAX First Realty as qualifications; he noted experience with project oversight, contract review and local permitting processes.
Councilwoman Bohinski moved to accept Pirrone’s appointment; Councilman Reid seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously in favor. Mr. Pirrone is scheduled to be sworn in at the next council meeting, per the minutes.
