Highland Park council adopts consent agenda, approves grants and confirms appointment; proclaims Direct Support Professionals week

The council also confirmed Andy Warren to the Shade Tree Advisory in a separate roll-call vote; members praised Warren’s long-term work on the native-plant sanctuary. Earlier in the meeting, the council read a proclamation recognizing Sept. 7–13, 2025 as Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week in Middlesex County, honoring direct support professionals who assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
