Washington Township council unanimously adopts emergency appropriation for fire truck repair

Council President Peter Del Borrello called a special meeting of the Washington Township Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 5 and the body promptly addressed an emergency funding request from the fire district.
The council considered Resolution R277-2025, an amendment to R276-2025 that approves and certifies an emergency appropriation by the Board of Fire Commissioners for Washington Township Fire District No. 1 to pay for the repair of a fire truck. Councilmember Brown moved to approve the resolution; Councilmember Pasqualone seconded. The motion passed unanimously with Councilmembers Yerkes and Harris also voting yes.
Township Clerk Christine Ciallella recorded the roll call: Councilmembers Brown, Pasqualone, Yerkes, Harris and Del Borrello were present. Mayor DellaPia and the Business Administrator were noted as absent; Mr. Rooney participated by telephone. The council opened the meeting for public comment but no one from the public spoke.
The council adjourned at 6:03 p.m.; the minutes list the next council meeting as Nov. 12, 2025, at 6:03 p.m. The resolution as described was adopted at the Nov. 5 special meeting. The minutes include a signature block for Township Clerk Christine Ciallella and Council President Peter Del Borrello, III.
