During the hearing of the delegation, parent Heather Harris-Dian addressed the board about a multi-player altercation at an Aug. 28 soccer scrimmage. Harris-Dian described meetings and student-discipline processes and said she believes her son's punishment is unfair and that his rights were not protected. The minutes summarize her remarks; no formal board action on the specific discipline case was recorded at the meeting.
