Resident asks whether memorialization allows building-permit submissions; board staff confirms process

A borough staff member, Chris, confirmed applicants should revise their plans and submit them to borough staff and to Bruce or Bruce's designee for review; once staff and the borough engineer determine the plans meet the intent of the approval, they will recommend issuance of construction permits to the construction code official.
Separately, a board member announced a redevelopment information session at the senior center and said a house on Harrison damaged by Hurricane Ida in 2021 will be demolished next week; the property is state-owned and may be available for municipal open-space purposes. Residents seeking more information were directed to contact the borough administrator.
What this means for applicants: the memorialized resolution will be used by staff to check revised engineering and building permit submissions. The applicant should not expect a permit to be issued automatically; staff and the borough engineer must confirm compliance with the resolution's conditions before making permit recommendations.
