Kippenbrocks ordered to clean noncompliant Patoka Township property; return hearing set for Aug. 3

In a Trash Court session before the regular meeting, commissioners and Solid Waste Management Director Carla Striegel-Winner updated Case 2023-0720-P concerning the Kippenbrock property in Patoka Township. The property was described as having accumulated junk, piles and stacks of debris and materials and remaining noncompliant with county ordinance.
Property owners Kurt and Cynthia Kippenbrock and their son Lance attended. Following discussion, the consensus was that the Kippenbrocks must remove and properly dispose of the trash and debris in accordance with County Ordinance 2019-01 Section 6.5 and return to Trash Court at 8:00 a.m. on Aug. 3, 2026. The County Attorney will provide notice of the requirement and the return date.
Trash Court opened at 8:30 a.m. and closed at 8:59 a.m.; the matter remains under county enforcement review pending compliance.
