Commissioner (S2) said he was comfortable with Flamingen because of direct familiarity with her work. After discussion, the chair made a motion to appoint Lisa Flamingen to the remainder of the term; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The chair also noted that the county follows statute for filling health board vacancies and that the health department director provided the candidate list to the board. Staff will complete appointment paperwork and record the new member formally.
