Brooklawn Borough Council on Tuesday approved two 2026 ordinances and passed a series of resolutions bundled in a consent agenda.
During the meeting the council moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1 (2026) and Ordinance No. 2 (2026) (a salary ordinance). A roll call produced the chair’s announcement that the motion passed with five yes votes and one abstention noted. Later the council approved resolutions including items cited as 67–69 (2026) and carried a consent agenda block described in the record as resolutions 71–73 (7126–7326 in the meeting packet), which the chair said were carried.
Council members used roll-call votes where recorded. The meeting record shows several votes proceeding without extended debate; where members asked for amendments or noted reservations, those were recorded in the minutes and did not prevent passage.
No additional appropriation amounts or statutory citations were included in the on-the-record motions for the ordinances during the meeting; the meeting host stated that one of the ordinances was the first reading for a later action item.
The council also tabled Ordinance No. 3206 (a proposal to set a fee schedule and public-use rules for borough baseball fields) for further review rather than adopting it at this session.
The council adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
