The Bridgeville Borough Council authorized change order No. 2 (final) for the 2025 roadway improvement project, decreasing the contract total by $93,858.33 based on final in‑place quantities. Council also authorized disbursement of $18,339.60 from the capital project fund to Independent Enterprises as partial payment No. 2 (final) for the same project.
The motions were made, seconded and carried by the council; the transcript records the dollar amounts and the reductions but does not provide a roll‑call vote tally by member. The minutes indicate the reductions reflect final measured quantities and that the project closeout is proceeding.
Separately, the council accepted the resignation of Mike Michael Meglin from the public works department, effective Nov. 7, 2025. The council ratified authorization to advertise for a public works labor and equipment operator and discussed streamlining hiring so the position might be filled by the December meeting to be ready for snow season.
No additional contract claims, change‑order disputes or further payment schedules were described in the meeting record; staff will continue standard closeout procedures for the roadway improvement project.
