The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors met Aug. 5, 2025 and approved a set of routine motions and a transportation resolution, all by recorded 4-0 votes.
Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to approve the meeting agenda; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded and the motion carried, 4-0. Supervisor Ryan Nelson then moved to approve the July 15, 2025 meeting minutes; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded and that motion also carried, 4-0.
During the Clerk-Treasurer report, Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve up to $70.00 for clerk attendance at a meeting by Couri and Ruppe at Franklin Township; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded and the motion carried, 4-0. Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to approve purchasing flags; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded and that motion carried, 4-0.
Under old business the board read a Speed Study resolution. The minutes state all supervisors were in favor and that the Clerk-Treasurer, Alana Paumen, will email a signed copy to the MnDOT engineer. The record does not show a separate roll-call vote on the resolution beyond the meeting note that all supervisors supported it.
Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 p.m.; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded and the motion carried, 4-0.
