Silver Creek Township supervisors approve mower purchase, driveway request and routine financial items

During open forum, resident Travis Johnson requested a second driveway approach. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the request; Vice Chair Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen presented a request to cover the cost for supervisors to attend a law review. Nelson moved to approve the expense; Geyen seconded and the board carried the motion 5-0.
On maintenance matters, Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to approve spending up to $20,000 to purchase a mower; Nelson seconded and the motion carried 5-0. The board deferred discussion and any action on grader repairs and finalized road specifications until the next meeting.
