Shrewsbury Park Board elects officers for 2025, recognizes outgoing members and sets holiday event

The board recognized outgoing members Shawn Harmon, Allen Cavedine and Mellissa Eggleston, elected M’aggie Maranzana president and Kathy Rehmer secretary for 2025, and heard the director report on budget work and a Dec. 6 tree-lighting at the city center.
The Shrewsbury Park Board recognized three outgoing members whose terms expire this year: Shawn Harmon, Allen Cavedine and Mellissa Eggleston. The board then elected M’aggie Maranzana as president and Kathy Rehmer as secretary for 2025.
The Parks director updated the board that staff are working on the upcoming budget and discussing the allocation of end-of-year funds. The director also announced the annual tree lighting has been moved to the city center and is scheduled for Dec. 6.
Board members encouraged interested residents to contact Chris Buck about joining the board and noted the next board meeting is Jan. 15, 2025.
