Buck confirmed the city's annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held Dec. 6 at the Shrewsbury City Center and said more information will be provided to the public. No formal vote on parks capital spending was recorded at the Nov. 12 meeting; the board did pre-approve acceptance of a Municipal Park Grant Agreement and asked staff to present ordinances for grant acceptance at the Nov. 26 work session.
The parks report was part of routine departmental updates; further decisions about aquatic-center planning and capital allocations will return to the board for review.
