Assessor Rich Motyka reported there are 19 unsold township properties and said only a handful are considered suitable for sale, noting specific parcels near the park and boat launch were discussed. He said the township is continuing tax‑map digitization and corrections with consultant Laura Brill and that full tax‑map updating could cost as much as $200,000; he said cost estimates will be provided to the Committee for planning and potential revaluation.
The review does not bind the Committee to sell properties; it was provided so members can consider options including another auction or targeted sales. Motyka said the assessor’s office will continue work and provide cost estimates and recommendations for Committee consideration at a future meeting.
