Tower council approves slate of resolutions, hires EMTs and designates Timberjay as legal newspaper

The council designated the Timberjay as the official legal newspaper and approved a one-year attorney contract for 2026. Councilor Anderson moved to hire one EMT and one EMR for the ambulance service, pending successful background checks; that motion passed unanimously. The council also approved use of the IRS standard mileage reimbursement rates effective Jan. 1, 2026, and approved the CJDN Subscriber Agreement.

The minutes record follow-up items for certain projects (for example, Harbor project bids and an IRRR meeting on Jan. 22) but do not list additional contingencies tied to the resolutions and contracts adopted at the meeting.
