McBee council approves sale of four town vehicles, opts for bid method

The motion passed with all members recorded as in favor.
Mayor Glenn Odom then moved (seconded by Councilman Robbie Liles) to approve the method of sale as a public bid. The council voted unanimous approval. Odom noted the change will "cut down on insurance," and added that "anybody can place a bid, and in the ad in the Link it says we have the right to refuse any bids." The minutes record the town reserves the right to reject bids.
