Chief White said deputies will continue to enforce rules for electric bicycles and scooters and will address motorcycle and vehicle racing complaints that residents raised during the meeting. He described a recent commercial burglary in which about $6,000 was stolen from the cash box of a massage business; detectives have been assigned and photos may aid the investigation.
Council members thanked the sheriff’s representatives for stepped‑up patrols near schools and neighborhoods and asked for a follow‑up breakdown of calls and trends; the chief said he would review the numbers and report back to council. No formal action was taken on the report.
