Riverside Board ratifies hires, resignations and coaching appointments

The Riverside Township Board of Education accepted multiple personnel actions on Nov. 13, 2025, including resignations, leaves of absence, new hires, contract rescissions and reappointments, and coaching and volunteer approvals.
The board accepted resignations from Kimberly Custer (Elementary Preschool Aide, effective Oct. 31), Jessica McCabe (Middle School English, effective Nov. 8) and other classified staff. The board approved an unpaid medical leave for Jessica McCabe covering roughly Oct. 16–Nov. 7. On a motion by Mrs. Winering, seconded by Mr. Hopkins, the board approved contract rescission and reappointment for Juliana Lewis (RES ambulatory aide) and Kiem Robinson (custodial substitute), with stated hourly rates and start dates in mid-November.
New employee appointments approved include Nicole DiMiero (part-time elementary preschool aide), Augustus Letton (elementary ambulatory aide), Patricia Vazquez and Mark Cooper (hall monitors) with start dates in November and December. The board also confirmed winter and spring coaching appointments, including middle-school basketball and varsity/co-assistant baseball positions, and approved a summer weightlifting coach for 2026–27.
Other personnel actions included appointment of a 6–12 ELA Teacher Lead (Ryan Murphy) at a prorated stipend, approval of a Lead Custodian role for Jennifer Restituyo De Los Santos, retroactive salary adjustments for two staff members, approval of 6th-period stipends for 2025–26, and acceptance of volunteers for athletic programs. All personnel motions carried by recorded votes.
