Riverside places municipal lien, approves handicapped spot and issues fee refunds in consent agenda

At its April 20 meeting, the Riverside Township Committee approved a set of consent resolutions covering property enforcement, parking and fee refunds.
Resolution 2026‑#51 authorizes the Tax Collector to place municipal liens on properties where the township abated public-nuisance conditions; the materials list an example lien charge of $1,945 for 101 N. Pavilion Avenue (Block 602, Lot 2). Resolution 2026‑#54 authorizes an on-street handicapped parking space at 603 Delaware Avenue for Sharon Drake after the Police Department confirmed adequate on-street parking under township code (Chapter 419‑48 and 419‑51B). The committee also approved Resolution 2026‑#55 to refund a $500 vacant property registration fee to Rolfe (R. Michael) Christ for 114 Delaware Avenue and Resolution 2026‑#56 to refund $125 to Claudia Goncalves de Souza for an erroneously paid resale application fee for 205 Bridgeboro Street.
Each resolution was certified by the municipal clerk as adopted at the meeting. The lien resolution specifies that lien amounts will be added to the tax rolls and collected in the same manner as property taxes. The refunds were described in the meeting packet as routine administrative corrections supported by letters submitted to the clerk.
Committee members approved the consent agenda by unanimous vote.
