LDFA to pursue test wells on Crane Road, says new well could replace aging sources

No formal vote was required to advance bidding; the board’s report described the work as moving into the procurement phase. The authority did not approve a specific drill contract during the meeting; members instructed staff to continue coordination, seek bids for the test wells, and return with updates.
The meeting adjourned after the LDFA moved on to routine updates and financial items.
