The Woodland Park Board of Education on April 22 approved several finance items, including a $43,400 annual contract with Magnolia Consulting Group to provide coaching and training on a Multi-Tiered System of Support model, to be paid from ESSER funds.
The contract was approved by roll call. The board also renewed its food service management contract with The Pomptonian, Inc., authorizing an estimated total contract cost of $680,285.22 for the 2024–2025 school year and an administrative/management fee of $0.2329 per reimbursable meal. The minutes state there is no guaranteed financial performance under the FSMC agreement.
In addition, the board voted to approve a bill list totaling $400,083.73, which the minutes say was reviewed and approved by finance committee chairperson MaryAnn Perro. The motion to accept the consent agenda including that bill list passed on a roll call vote recorded as 9 YES.
The Magnolia contract and the Pomptonian renewal appear in the minutes under finance items and were recorded as approved during the meeting. The Silvergate Prep contract for homebound instruction for one student at $40 per hour was also approved on the consent agenda.
The board’s finance approvals followed standard roll-call votes recorded in the minutes; no public debate or speaker quotes are recorded in the transcript minutes for these items. The board moved to executive session later in the meeting and adjourned after returning to open session.
