Weymouth Township Committee approves $324,228.62 in vouchers and three resolutions

The vouchers approval motion (moved by Norton, seconded by Keiffenheim) passed by roll call. Committee member Norton voted yes; Keiffenheim voted yes but recorded an abstention on voucher #523; Mayor Kenneth R. Haeser voted yes and recorded an abstention on voucher #561. The motion approved payment of the full voucher batch despite those recorded abstentions on specific checks.
Also during new business the committee approved Resolution 35-2026 to accept a quote from Fralinger Engineering, Resolution 36-2026 to authorize a budget transfer, and Resolution 37-2026 granting a raffle license to WACYL. Each resolution passed on motions moved by Norton and seconded by Keiffenheim, with unanimous roll-call votes recorded for those items.
Earlier in the meeting, the committee accepted routine department reports and a series of meeting minutes (Nov. 19, 2025; Nov. 19 closed session; Dec. 3, 2025; Dec. 17, 2025) by unanimous vote. Correspondence from the Jersey Strong Coastal Coalition was also accepted.
The meeting record shows the committee conducted its business following the township clerk’s reading of the Sunshine Law statement and adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
