Weymouth Committee approves $294,263.46 in vouchers, schedules bids and building work

Weymouth Township’s Committee approved routine but consequential business at its Oct. 1 meeting, including payment of vouchers totaling $294,263.46 and several administrative resolutions.
The committee accepted the Clerk’s September 2025 report and approved the Sept. 17, 2025 meeting minutes. It then approved vouchers for payment in the amount of $294,263.46 (motion Norton/Keiffenheim; roll call Norton-yes; Keiffenheim-yes; Haeser-yes).
Engineering updates included a Maple Avenue resurfacing (2024 NJDOT) bid opening scheduled for Oct. 9, 2025 at 10 a.m., and a hoped-for late-September bid opening for the 2025 NJDOT Pennsylvania Avenue resurfacing. Engineer Michael Fralinger also reported that an inspector was scheduled to begin the 2025 Oaks inspection the day of the meeting.
Under new business the committee adopted Resolution 92-2025 updating Personnel Policies and Procedures and the Employee Handbook, and Resolution 93-2025 concerning a shared service with Eagle View. The committee also authorized sending a letter prepared by the township solicitor to Spacious Skies and approved closing the Municipal Building on Oct. 16, 2025 for mandatory ACMJIF training (motions carried by roll call; Norton-yes; Keiffenheim-yes; Haeser-yes).
Architect Drew Dingler gave a recap of a Phase I inspection of the municipal building structure and roof; the committee directed him to proceed to Phase II and report back at the Oct. 15 meeting. Mayor Kenneth R. Haeser said ADA improvements to the Community Center main entrance will begin in Spring 2026. No public comments were raised during the privilege-of-the-floor portion of the meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
