The Township Committee of Winfield unanimously adopted Ordinance #466 on July 21, 2025, establishing pay rates for township officials and employees for 2025, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Commissioner Adam D. Koomer moved adoption; Commissioner Joseph P. Byrne seconded; all members present voted in the affirmative.
Ordinance #466 sets explicit annual amounts for named positions. Among the larger line items are the Township Clerk at $66,868.59 and the Administrative/Bookkeeper at $52,133.02. The text also lists a Chief Financial Officer amount of $20,000.00, a Municipal Judge at $11,439.98, and specific annual or hourly rates for registrars, clerical services, court administrators and various sub-code officials. The ordinance states it will take effect immediately following final passage and publication and be effective retroactively beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
