Rochelle Park board renews payroll contract pending legal review, OKs summer facility uses

The board approved a renewal agreement with KCB Payroll Consulting, LLC for payroll services for the 2025-2026 school year for $34,000, with the contract noted as "pending legal revisions." Business Administrator/Board Secretary Michele Rainere presented the finance items.
The board also approved requests for use of school facilities. Listed items included a Township-sponsored "Park Avenue BMW" summer concert tentatively scheduled for Aug. 25 (or Aug. 27 in case of weather) with field or gym use and an estimated district rental fee of $400 plus $750 for custodial services (three custodians). The board approved seasonal field use by Rochelle Park Soccer (Aug. 1'1 to Nov. 30) and practice dates for Maywood Soccer based on availability. Ms. Christina Holz moved and Ms. Elaine Rainone seconded the motion to approve F1 and F2; the roll-call vote was 6-0.
The payroll renewal was recorded as "pending legal revisions" in the motion language. The board did not take additional action tied to funding sources at the meeting.
The district will include the renewed payroll-services agreement and facility-use approvals in its next administrative filings.
