Council to revisit city vision after staff retrieves SEDS/consultant materials

Council members emphasized the need for meaningful public participation in visioning and suggested revisiting the topic in six months after staff provides the completed materials.
Several council members expressed frustration with past outreach and a desire for clearer follow-through. "I just want to keep the conversations going because I'm afraid that we don't have an identity," one councilmember said, urging the city to use resident input to guide future development.
Next steps: staff will retrieve the SEDS/vision documents and consultant deliverables for council review; the council agreed to revisit the item once those materials are available, with staff estimating an SEDS update due in April.
