The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education on Feb. 20 approved education items that included field trips, fundraising events, an Extended School Year (ESY) program and adoption of the 2024–25 school calendar.
The 2024 ESY program was approved to run July 1 through Aug. 8, 2024, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The board approved a Girls Flag Football Club for the 2023–24 school year and a range of field trips and class visits (examples in the minutes include an AP Chinese trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on March 7 and multiple disciplinary and enrichment trips planned through spring).
The board also approved a roster of pit orchestra consultants for the spring musical at a stipend of $600 per consultant to cover rehearsals and five performances.
