Board approves $1.04M in bills, cafeteria tables purchase, Delta-T contract and sets tuition rates

School Business Administrator Sean S. Cranston presented the bill lists showing combined fund totals of $1,036,112.48 and total expenditures of $1,789,396.48 for the similarly dated pay period and accounts. The board approved Finance Items 7–19 and 21 by unanimous roll-call vote.
The board authorized purchase of 12 Palmer Hamilton bench cafeteria tables from Nickerson NJ Inc. at $3,313.60 each for a total of $39,763.20 through the ESCNJ cooperative (budget line 12-000-100-730-324-0).
The board approved a contract with Delta-T Group to provide services effective March 13, 2024 through June 30, 2024; the contract and the vendor’s rate sheet for behavioral health and related educational services appear in the meeting attachments.
Separately, the Board set the 2024–25 nonresident general education tuition rate at $19,828. It also set special-education tuition rates (MD $34,515 and ESY $4,602). The board approved Education Items 22–26, which also included field trips, fundraising and home-instruction arrangements.
All finance and education items referenced in these votes were approved unanimously by recorded roll-call votes as noted in the minutes.
