Wheatland council approves consent agenda, sets Trick-or-Treat, and approves Code of Ordinance draft

Council member Stankee moved (second Grau) to set Trick-or-Treat for Oct. 31, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes also record a motion to approve the city clerk attending the annual budget workshop on Dec. 5 via Zoom (mover/second not specified) and a motion by Stankee (second Hicks) to approve Code of Ordinance draft #1; the latter motion passed 'All ayes.'
The council discussed emergency outdoor warning sirens but tabled that topic until Clinton County Emergency Management and the Clinton County Dispatch Center can provide more information. At 7:28 p.m., Council member Stankee moved (second Hicks) to adjourn; the motion passed unanimously.
