Tom Nienovich of Ellet Sign Company presented a request to add four tenant panels (each panel part of a 6‑foot‑high by 10‑foot‑wide cabinet) to an existing pylon sign at 3200 Arlington Road (Arlington Ridge Marketplace). He said the proposed faces would match the existing cabinet, be internally illuminated with LEDs, and would not add new site impacts.
Board members discussed visibility and recommended a few adjustments; the chairman noted the sign would not affect motorists at the signalized intersection because of the existing setback. A board member made a motion for approval with the usual recommendations; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
Outcome: the board approved the additional cabinet panels as presented; the applicant was advised to follow standard site recommendations and coordinate final attachment details with staff.
