Board member Mariano Corral recommended the applicant consider removing or mitigating the mango tree if construction would interfere with it, advising, “If you follow, if you talk to your landscape architect, you should be able to understand that.” Members also asked the applicant to coordinate plumbing and elevation work to avoid conflicts with the proposed material transitions.
After discussion, the board moved and approved DRB2025‑005 with staff comments; the approval was recorded as a board recommendation with the usual condition that the building permit must meet applicable code requirements.
