During new business, Donita Youtsey moved to remove Biran Robinson as an authorized signatory on district bank accounts and to add Kayli Burrell; Karla Youtsey seconded and the motion passed 6-0. Karla Youtsey later moved to set the tax rate hearing for the 2025–2026 school year on Aug. 18, 2025, at 6:45 p.m.; Donita Youtsey seconded and that motion passed 6-0.
Hydi Sheetz moved to send out notice of a vacancy for a board position; Wyatt Christensen seconded and the motion passed 5-1 (the transcript does not specify which member voted against the motion). The board then voted to enter a closed session at 8:08 p.m.; Karla Youtsey moved to enter and Wyatt Christensen seconded. Roll-call votes to enter and to exit closed session (at 8:29 p.m.) were recorded as yes from Karla Youtsey, Donita Youtsey, Aaron Piburn, Wyatt Christensen, Amber Estep and Hydi Sheetz.
Karla Youtsey moved to adjourn at 8:30 p.m.; Donita Youtsey seconded and the motion passed 6-0. The board announced its next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2025, to follow the tax rate hearing.
