Board approves Williamson Act contract and amends Agriculture Advisory Committee rules

The Alameda County Board of Supervisors approved two short consent items early in the Dec. 12 planning meeting.
Planning staff (Ally Avers) recommended the board adopt a resolution establishing a Williamson Act agricultural/open-space land conservation agreement for a single parcel (APN 902-6-3-1) totaling 120.7 acres in North Livermore, used for cattle grazing and olive cultivation; the parcel is categorically exempt from CEQA under the guidelines for Williamson Act contracts. The board voted unanimously to approve the agreement.
The board also conducted the second reading of an ordinance amending Title 2, Chapter 2.122 of the Alameda County Administrative Code to revise membership and voting provisions for the Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) and adopted the ordinance and an accompanying resolution (roll-call approval). Staff flagged that the AAC bylaws were amended for consistency with the code changes.
