Newaygo planning commission approves officer reappointments and 2025 meeting calendar

At its Jan. 9 meeting the Newaygo City Planning Commission completed routine governance actions: the board reappointed its officers, approved prior minutes and adopted a resolution setting regular meeting dates for 2025.
By motion of Fedell, second by Wight, the commission reappointed Chambers as Planning Commission chair, Fedell as vice-chair and Williams as secretary; the motion passed with all members voting in favor. The commission approved the Nov. 7, 2024 minutes on a motion by Fedell, second by Williams. Faulkner moved, and Wight seconded, Resolution P25-01 establishing the Planning Commission's regular 2025 meeting dates; the resolution passed unanimously.
Other procedural items: the commission approved a motion to excuse absent member DeVries and later adjourned the meeting at 7:20 p.m.
