"I move to recommend to the city council the adoption of the ordinance changes made within section 48-76 of the code of ordinances regarding connection charges," said Councilman Hussain when he presented the motion. The motion was seconded, put to a vote, and approved unanimously.
There was no substantive discussion recorded during the committee on the water-connection proposal following the motion. The chair then called motions to close the Committee of the Whole and to adjourn; both were approved.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the full Danbury City Council for final action.
