Eagle Township board approves consent agenda, bills and several appointments

Trustee Dennis Strahle moved, supported by Clerk Laurie Briggs-Dudley, to accept the consent agenda as presented; the motion carried. Trustee Strahle moved, supported by Treasurer Chelsea Hoppes, to approve the meeting agenda as amended; the motion carried. The board approved payment of presented bills and other regular monthly bills on a motion by Trustee Strahle, supported by Treasurer Chelsea Hoppes.
On appointments, the board moved and carried to appoint Patricia Clark Block to the Niles Cemetery Board to replace Sara Matthews Clark for a three-year term expiring July 31, 2027; to extend Chuck Byam Jr.'s appointment through July 31, 2026 per the ordinance; and to appoint Julie Hubbard to replace Rose Elston for a one-year term expiring July 31, 2025. Supervisor Troy Stroud moved, supported by Trustee Michelle Hoppes, to appoint Janine Dyer as a Board of Review alternate and to appoint Dan Feldpausch as a Zoning Board of Appeals alternate; both motions carried.
Supervisor Stroud moved, supported by Treasurer Chelsea Hoppes, to adjourn the meeting at 9:19 p.m.; the motion carried. The minutes were signed by Clerk Laurie Briggs-Dudley.
