Parks staff: Kleckner Park turf installation set, $20,000 grant to fund amenities

She also said a prefabricated restroom at Creek Bomb remains in the capital budget and that utilities work is in progress.
On programming and events, Valerie highlighted a March 20 free film presentation with commentary by a local film professor and an adult evening "egg hunt" planned for April 18 as a trial special event; the department is coordinating with local businesses for refreshments. She said the preschool program is selling out each month and that day-camp enrollment is filling quickly.
Valerie noted staff and volunteer coordination to support youth sports groups and said Parks staff will work with organizers on scheduling, AED compliance and use of the new core facility as it comes online. No formal capital funding decisions were made at the meeting; staff asked the board to continue outreach and to monitor bids and schedules as projects progress.
