Danbury commission tables several regulated-activity applications and approves multiple shed permits

The Danbury Environmental Impact Commission used its Aug. 13 meeting to resolve a series of routine permit actions: tabling some applications for further review and approving administrative shed permits.

The commission voted to table regulated activity 1243 (Charcoal Ridge Drive South), 124515 (Grape Pasture Road) and 1246/1247 (Lot 1 and Lot 2 Bayberry Lane) until the next regularly scheduled meeting; commissioners asked members who had not yet visited the Bayberry Lane site to do so next week. The commission also approved regulated activity 1244 for 20 Marion Street with seven conditions of approval; the decision was made by voice vote. Two administrative approvals for sheds were granted: regulated activity 12499 (Sighthill Court) for two sheds (amended in the meeting to reflect 96 sq ft and 140 sq ft sizes per submitted paperwork) and regulated activity 1250 (a 12-by-13 shed, dimensions discussed and clarified during the meeting). There was a short procedural discussion about missing declaration language for a condition that corporate counsel needed to approve; the transcript records commissioners asking that a specific condition be struck or clarified once counsel's language is available.

There were no new violations or correspondence noted. The commission confirmed the next meeting date and adjourned.
