Finance Committee Chair Mister Neugebauer reported on June 2 that Resolution 2025‑R25 (as amended) would modify appropriations across several city funds for the quarter, totaling $776,494.56. Neugebauer outlined the primary line items: $85,050.06 net in the general fund; $53,300 in the street construction maintenance and repair fund; $21,081.68 in parks and recreation; a federal grant fund giveback of $31,009.55 and 6¢; $2,700 for the cemetery fund; $400,000 in the income tax fund for refunds; $160,317.88 in the Park Capital Project Reserve Fund (including an additional $100,000 for Kleckner Park restroom facilities and storage); and $86,000 in the TIF Capital Projects Fund.
The committee treated this as a second reading and recommended advancing the item to third reading; Neugebauer said the administration presented the appropriation requests and the committee expected to take final action at the council's next meeting in two weeks. No vote on the final appropriation occurred at the June 2 meeting.
Council members asked no substantive questions in the committee report; Neugebauer said time has been requested and will be granted for the next meeting to consider the final form of the modification for the second quarter.
