At the end of the August Board of Zoning Appeals meeting, a board member provided administrative updates: the board currently has one vacant position following a resignation, and the speaker said they will follow up with the city clerk's office and the mayor's office, which will consider nominees to bring forward to the City Council for appointment. The speaker also said the board received a new variance application — a front-yard encroachment for an accessory structure — and that packets will be distributed before the next meeting, which the speaker listed as Sept. 16. No substantive discussion of the new case occurred at the August meeting.
The meeting was adjourned after a motion to adjourn was made and carried by voice vote.
